Composed,
not designed.

The first design intelligence built not on retrieval, but on derivation from first principles. 1,864 interior design terms generated from 20 atomic constraints.

The vocabulary of interior design is finite.

Cornice, wainscoting, patina, reveal — looks infinite. Isn't. Twenty atomic constraints, composed through cultural and material mirrors, generate every style we have names for.

01 · atomize

Twenty atoms, no more.

Rhythm. Proportion. Surface tension. Reveal. Each is a primitive constraint field — irreducible. We catalogued them by reverse-deriving from 1,864 named terms.

Cultural · Georgian, Victorian, Art Deco. Material · wood-linear, stone-mass, metal-leaf. Audience · residential, commercial, hospitality. Each mirror transforms an atom configuration into a culturally specific term.

03 · derive

Compose a vocabulary.

Atoms × mirrors generates a candidate term. Ranked by compressibility, material logic, cultural legibility. Every term in the catalog was derived this way — and so will every new one.

A composer, not a generator.

The composer is an environment for doing the work. Atoms in. Mirrors selected. Variations earned. Every output is reproducible — derivation is what makes it design, not output.

Common questions.

No. The system does not generate from a learned distribution — it derives from constraints. Every output is reproducible from its atom configuration and mirror set. The composer is closer to a CAS than to a generative model.

Then it isn't culturally legible yet. Either compose it with the atoms you have, or submit a derivation request and we'll add the mirror configuration that produces it.

It's the most vocabulary-heavy field with the smallest atom set. Excellent test bed. The same method works for typography, product design, and architecture — those are the next vocabularies.

Studios that take vocabulary seriously. If you ask "what makes this Georgian and not Victorian?" — the composer was built for you. If you don't — it isn't.
